Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
